  • Generic descriptors are still a hot potato but one step closer with draft guidance released

    Generic descriptors are terms (denominations) traditionally used to describe a class of foods or beverage, which could imply an effect on human health. It has been almost 6 years since the entry into force of the Nutrition and Health Claims (1924/2006) and only now are the issue of generic descriptors been examined.
